WebGIS and Spatial Decision Support

Your own data, made decidable.

Engagement

Delivered as a bespoke platform, hosted, in your cloud or on-premises

Overview

Where should the next facility go, who is under-served, and what does the network look like today?

A domain-independent spatial platform. Any vector or raster layer, any spatial analysis and any location-aware model can be defined and run inside it, whether the network being managed is public services, infrastructure, natural resources or industrial assets. Outputs of the other ARASAT products publish directly into it as governed layers.

How it works

Pipeline and maturity of each stage

  1. 01

    Layer management

    Operational

Point, line and polygon layers with independent symbology, filtering, opacity and legends; raster and satellite outputs load alongside them.

  2. 02

    Spatial analysis

    Operational

Buffers, overlays, proximity, clustering, density and measurement, run interactively in the browser without a desktop GIS.

  3. 03

    Network routing and service areas

    Operational

Travel-time and travel-distance catchments computed on the real street network, and routing between any two points on it.

  4. 04

    Multi-criteria siting and dashboards

    Operational

Weighted decision analysis over population, coverage, accessibility and constraint layers producing a ranked suitability surface, with indicator dashboards and distributional-equity analysis kept live against the layers.

Data used

  • Client vector and raster data (shapefile, GeoJSON, PostGIS, GeoTIFF, COG)
  • Street networks
  • Population and administrative layers
  • Outputs of other ARASAT products

Methods and models

  • Client-side spatial operations
  • Server-side heavy analysis
  • Street-network routing and isochrones
  • Multi-criteria decision analysis

Outputs

  • Governed map layers
  • Suitability surfaces and ranked sites
  • Indicator dashboards
  • Exports and API

Who it is for

  • Public-service network planning
  • Infrastructure and utilities
  • Natural-resource and asset management
  • Any organisation that manages a network of locations
